JUST IN: Golden State Warriors Star Stephen Curry review a shoking secret about his coach and…

Putting an end to rumors about his future, Stephen Curry inked a one-year deal extension with the Golden State Warriors that runs through 2027.

The four-time NBA champion will receive a guaranteed $178 million (£135 million) over the next three years as part of the $82.6 million (£47.5 million) deal.

Having won two awards for Most Valuable Player in the NBA, the 36-year-old will join LeBron James, Paul George, and Kevin Durant as the only other players to earn more than $500 million in their career.
With only LeBron James’s $580 million in earnings, Curry’s total on-court earnings at the end of his new contract will be approximately $532 million (£403 million).

After being selected with the seventh overall pick in the NBA draft, Curry has played his whole career for the Warriors.

The 10-time NBA All-Star will not have his longtime teammate Klay Thompson with him this season.

Curry tried to get Golden State to agree on a new contract, but they were unable to, and Thompson ended his 13-year relationship with the Warriors by signing a free agent contract to play for the Dallas Mavericks.

Only two players remain from the four who participated in each of the Warriors’ NBA title victories: Curry and Draymond Green.

After losing out on the playoffs the previous season, they intend to rely more on their youthful players as they prepare to lead the team into a new era.
