The bad news is that a quarterback from the Southeastern Conference will be back……

Lane Kiffin criticizes the SEC for allowing LSU football to play Alabama on a night. On November 9 in Death Valley, Brian Kelly and company will play the Alabama Crimson Tide, earning them the prime time spot.

The Week 11 start times for the Nov. 9 schedule were announced by the SEC, and the LSU Tigers were given the prime time slot for their game versus the Alabama Crimson Tide. In what will be an SEC matchup with major postseason ramifications at stake, Brian Kelly’s program secures another night game in Death Valley. The main event is LSU vs. Alabama on November 9, but Week 11 also has Ole Miss vs. Georgia, which is another match to watch.

With Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin remarking on the SEC office’s decision to assign the night game to LSU, the Rebels and Bulldogs won the 2:30 p.m. slot. Who went at night, then? I suppose LSU gets to play at night once more. “Shocking,” Kiffin remarked. “That gives them two for two.” In a crucial SEC matchup with postseason ramifications, Ole Miss will visit the Georgia Bulldogs on November 9 in the afternoon on ABC. At 7:30 p.m. ET, LSU and Alabama will follow.

Only two weeks have passed since LSU’s victory against the Ole Miss Rebels in Baton Rouge for the primetime game in Death Valley.
